School of Medicine Codes of Conduct

The University of Leeds has a number of policies, processes and guidance associated with Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI)  aimed at preventing and addressing bullying, harassment, discrimination and sexual misconduct.

The Codes of Conduct below give supplementary guidance to these policies, outlining the School’s expectations of behaviour and conduct of staff, students and postgraduate researchers.

The Codes of Conduct are also intended to clarify to placement providers the expectations that we have for their staff who interact with our students, and the standards to which they should hold our students.

Anti-racism Code of Conduct V3.0 August 2025 outlines the School’s stance on racial harassment specifically, and supports our implementation of the BMA Charter on Racial Harassment.
