Assessment on placement

The student's’ supervisor will complete their end of placement assessment form via PebblePad. Unless the student is unwell on the final day of placement, they should be with their tutor while they record the following:

Details of which rotation and the location, the assessor’s details, details of their attendance,  comments on their professionalism, knowledge base and communication skills and any other concerns and constructive feedback.

There are two questions on the student's professionalism. These are:

  • I believe this student has performed in a professional manner throughout this placement, specifically maintaining trust by showing respect, courtesy, honesty, compassion and empathy for others, including patients, carers, guardians and colleagues.
  • I believe this student has performed in a professional manner throughout this placement, specifically interacting with colleagues in a way that demonstrates appropriate professional values and behaviours, in terms of supporting colleagues, respecting difference of opinion, and working as a collaborative member of a team.
